At the risk of repeating myself, what separates Coach Summitt and the Lady Vols fromthe others,win or lose, is that they always conduct themselves properly, always act preofessionally, and dont say things just for sound bites and attention.
I have no doubt UT will always have an above average program, but whether we are #1 or #10, I am thankful for our staff and program,and hope they/it never changes.
Im proud to be aVolunteer for that.

Congrats to you candace, This girl gave us some wonderful memories, and never once in all her time here did she ever say anything improper, etc when interviewed, in public, always spoke highly of UT, and acted appropriately. I hope she gets all she
deserves. She did so much for UT and our Lady Vols, its payback time.
I hope all these girls from this class do and acheive great things, they all deserve it

folks, the game is free, why on earth are you all complaining, and chatting about fees, charging forthe game , etc. Enjoy it, life isnt perfect, this University does quite a bit for its students, check around...

Interesting, I was thinking the same thing, as I was at game.
My thought was that it doesnt seem to matter whether somehting significant or minor, our program, our people do and say the correct thing!!!!!!!!

That is toobad, seems that many of us alumni, spend much money on donations, merchandise, etc, we pay alot, and dont question prices because its for the school.
Surely, whatever sum of money could be taken in from this,could be made up elsewhere. Many of us have no problem helping to support the school, in many ways, I do, and I have a daughter starting next fall, and would hope she would get to go to games for free, just as much out of principal.I could afford it, as she is out of state, but many kids have tight budgets, I was one years ago.
Tournaments, bowls, etc, are for us alimni,who can afford tickets, travel, etc., the one thing our students have is being able to at least attend home regular season games, that should not change...

As I have said all season, we are blessed to have the program, people, and students we have had for so long.
lets enjoy it while we have them all.
having followed this class for the past few years, sad to see them go, but each one of these seniors have given there all, and we will miss each and every one of them. They all made these championships possible. As the articele said, we owe them a thank you for choosing to come here, and what they did during their time here, both on and off the court.
I was fortunate to be in tampa and watch them , and what a thrill it was.
I know I sound like a broken record, but win or lose, a great or not so great season (record wise), this program is wellabove any other.
Go lady Vols, you deserve everything that comes to you, for all you gave these past few years!!!!!!!!!!

Best of luck girls, and Candace, dont do more damage to that shoulder, were all rootin for our lady Vols. Win or lose, they will make us proud as always, with their ability, desire and attitude...

its certainly a set back for you, but hang in there. This team has a pretty good track record of girls coming back better than ever, may take aw hile,but we are all behind you, whether its this season or next, youll recover , hang in there. It wil work out in the end.
