One of my finest memories is of my Crossville high school classmate, Curt Watson, starting on the one yard line and running it eleven straight times and when he was finished they were on the UCLA 49. Contrary to what a lot of folks don't know about Curt is that he was also a fine student and a wonderful person, going on to fly jets for the Blue Angels for longer than any other pilot has ever flown for them. The only running back I ever saw better than Curt was Alber Davis from Alcoa. He was a Tush hog with a capital T. Also, I never understood why they didn't run him outside more like they did with the winning touchdown against Arkansas. He was just as good an outside runner as he was inside. Oh well, those were the days!!!!!

Congratulations! There's nothing that warms my heart more than seeing an abject failure turn himself into a success. I, too, did the same thing, and have flown very high since then. I can only hope Demetrius flies as high as I have and enjoys the trip half as much. I think he will. Good work young man!

Sounds like Ms. Parker has gotten the big head. Too bad, because I thought she was the real deal.

If they are smart they will let the Cleveland Clinic do the job. Best in the world.

I watched Deleware State play once this fall in a championship game of some sort. I've never seen a team rack up yards and points like they did in that game. Get their head coach to go to UT, or one of the head coaches at another dynamic little school that has a "hoss" of an offense. The great ones always started out at some little school Snatch up one of them.

I've never been one of the boo birds about Coach Fulmer, although he has always been somewhat unimaginative and less than willing to gamble to win, preferring the "safe" play (no guts no glory). Now, however, it appears that the new offenses and defenses have passed these guys by and they can't seem to figure it out. Too bad. Nice guys. Poor performance. We need a change, not for a losing, but for getting left at the starting gate. PS--I don't know Jack about football but I know when it is third and one and a half and your running back is getting eight yards a carry, you might want to try and fool them with one into the end zone and go for it on fourth down if you have to, but to throw that dinky pass and then punt? Unbeleivable.

Nine kids? Sounds like he needs to be in jail to protect the women of the world. How irresponsible can one person be. Oh well. Time to pay the piper.
