An NC - not realistic? BS. Good thing you're not their coach.

The trend over the last several years was not a good one. That's my perspective -- and it goes beyond the "tip of my nose". I've watched Tennessee football since 1967. People get fired for underperforming all the time. Especially when they make over $2 million a year. It was time for a change.

I'm impressed with the comments by Nick Stevens. He has his head on straight.

Good grief. It's a game. Nobody died. Fulmer's getting paid $6 million. Nothing stays the same forever. Life moves on. Get a grip. Big opportunities on the team opening up for those that get their head on straight the soonest.

All the "hurt feelings" will suddenly vanish about 30 seconds after the announcement of the hiring of a highly regarded new coach. People get fired all the time. This time, it happened to someone in the public eye making a lot more than minimum wage.
On Ramon Foster on Fulmer: 'That's not a way for him to go out'

How long does it take to grade Daniel West's freakin' test? I'll swear, I have absolutely no idea on earth why it is so dang difficult to figure out if someone has a passing score on an exam. Give it to me. I'll crank it out in 30 minutes.

What is definitely likely is no three peat with that kind of thinking and expectation. Another championship this year is most certainly within this team's reach.

UT coach Phillip Fulmer said following practice Sunday that he’s concerned with the Vols 2-4 start.
“If you’re not concerned, you’re crazy,” he said. “We’ve got to get ourselves on track, absolutely.”
How does Fulmer say this stuff with a straight face?

This is starting to remind me of Glenn Close in "Fatal Attraction". Fulmer is only further damaging his own credibility by putting the fumble on Foster. Everybody with two eyes and more than two brain cells could clearly see that Crompton botched the exchange.

Which is exactly what she should be saying. Freshmen don't need the additional pressure of their coach promising an NC. They need some room to develop. What a coach SAYS (especially to the press) and what they really BELIEVE are often two different things. Is it possible for them to win another one this year? Yes.
