i agree with everyone else on the refs being terrible, but JP has to keep his cool in that situation. there is no doubt it was a dirty play, and he was baiting him after the play, but you still have to be the bigger individual in that case. that had the potential to be a real bad play if a fight breaks out there. great job by the assistant coaches keeping everyone on the bench and not getting to excited with such a BS play

DsaVol---not sure who you are comparing Tabb to but he is one of the 2 players on the team that can play half court defense. He has offensive skills but i agree he appears a bit gun shy at times. he has shown his skills at times early in the year. With the team as it stands, we need someone that can play defense, not turn the ball over and rebound. we have enough offensive threats I personally would like to see him getting in the 15-18 minute range. JP cant guard his shadow, and neither can Howell. Both are also turnover prone.

FatherVol---agreed, great article on espn by chris low. i am not sure where all the negative vibes are coming from on here about espn. granted they picked against us, but who cares. i personally think they are giving more coverage now than i can ever remember in the past. 5 years ago you would be lucky to even get a UT highlight on espn. i am glad they are covering the highlights, and coming to do our games. who cares if they pick against us on game day. that could be good in the end as Coach can use it as bulletin board material.

budrhon---have to disagree. as bad as i hate to say it i think JP's technical was a good call. he did a chin up on the rim, which was uncalled for. it would have been different if someone would have been under him. he also seems to whine alot on calls that i am sure did not help in that situation. seems as if he is lost out there most of the time to me.

what a game. Crews and Tabb did the little things to win that game.

akkdowl--- i agree. it seems to me that JP is a liability on defense to say the least, and it seems his offense has diminished since league play has started.

bshell--- i agree. i think JP has a knack to get to the rim, but if he doesnt get there it is as good as a turnover. his half court defense is suspect at best. i think the way this team is with plenty of scorers (i.e. Lofton, all 3 Smith's, Chism) Tabb would be a better fit as we get into conference play. he is alot better on the defensive end and even though he does not do much offensively, he does not turn the ball over. i agree with Pearls comments from earlier in the year, sometimes less is more from that position given all the others on the floor. Last night Gee was a beast. If you put Tabb on him just for a few minutes i feel that wears him down a bit.

JP---5 points, 0 assists, 1 steal, 1 rebound, 5 to's, not a good line at all. we need more than that. thinking we need to see Tabb getting some of those minutes back.

our half court defense is terrible. turnovers are out of control too. also seems as if JP has not faired well in conference play.

af1--- respect you showing up. that was a beat down. just think though, it could be worse. you could be an indiana fan with your team about to go on probation
