No black, please. I say wear orange pants for every road game. Our road uniforms are just a notch below Penn State's for absolute ugliness. Another nice addition would be the orange on the shoulder pads that we had back in the early 70s and wore in one game in recent years. I think that looks awesome. I'm sure that some will disagree. But, please don't every go to those ugly jerseys with the stripe or whatever it is down the sides that the Denver Broncos started. I can't even stand to watch a Minnesota Vikings game because of those ugly jerseys. Alan Page and Chuck Foreman would have refused to wear them. Kosmo, how old are you. You remind me of me about 25 years ago. Damn, I miss those days.
On Poll: If Tennessee decides to wear orange pants during a road game, which game should it be?

Apparently some people, due to a lack of intelligence, are more in tune with jackasses like Chad Johnson, Terrell Owens, Ray Lewis, etc., and the foolish war dances or whatever the hell you call that crap they do. Those guys are all great players. Why can't they just shut up and play the game with class the way the Mannings do?

I loved watching Jackie Walker play. One of my all time favorite Vols. But, I was just a kid then and had no idea about all the racial stuff that he and others had to endure. How pathetic. Wouldn't it be wonderful if everyone could/would view ballgames and life in general through a child's eyes and perspective. Live and let live. Rest in peace, Jackie Walker.

Thinking about the horrors of 9/11, in contrast to something that's supposed to be fun (following UT football), I wonder how many Vol fans would rather see Fulmer fired than see Osama bin Laden captured?

Hmmm. I wonder how Fulmer would fare at Florida, where the coach doesn't really even have to go out of state to recruit top notch talent, and conversely, how Spurrier and Urban Meyer would do at UT where due to lack of in-state talent they'd have to recruit nationally as Fulmer does?

Are you saying that if Crompton were to suffer a career ending injury in the opening game and this injury led to the Vols only winning 8 or 9 games that you'd be ready to hand Fulmer to the wolves? Sorry, dumb question. Most of you would have handed him to the wolves long ago if you could've.

I'd hate to see UT fire Fulmer and hire a Gerry DiNardo or someone of his ilk. On the other hand, that is exactly what many fickle UT "fans" deserve to have happen. What a bunch of whiners.

You're correct catch24. Geno has some outstanding recruiters in Sue Bird and Diana Taurasi. Their efforts are, of course, against NCAA rules. How have they gotten away with this?

You've got to hand it to Geno. The going rate for successful cheaters these days is apparently quite high. A few more ESPN tours and he might be able to rake in enough talent to win another national title.

The officiating was horrible, but it's not what cost UT the game. UCLA was holding all night and got away with it. In fact, they were holding on the safety that we should have gotten, but didn't. Can someone please explain to me why the Vols' coaching staff chose to play it close to the vest in overtime after holding UCLA to 3 in their turn? How stupid was that, especially after the way Lincoln had kicked for most of the night? By golly, go for the TD and the win!
