So sorry to hear that Vicki will need surgery but trust it will heal soon, she's got heart and determination. I think we'll do ok next season, I saw Kelley Cain play in the Carson-Newman exhibition game and she is one fantastic player! If Vicki can get back, and with Kate back and Kelley, plus Alex, and Syd, we'll be in pretty good shape right off. Anybody who becomes a Lady Vol already has what it takes, but boy will I miss our five seniors from this year! What a team! I'd better stop before I cry. Thanks for a great year! We'll be here waiting for you this fall!!!

The way Candace glided up the court at the end was beautiful to see. It was smart and unselfish of her to get it to Nicky. Nicky may well have gotten her own tip back in but Lex is SO quick, another big beautiful game-changing play by #14. The Lady Vols are a joy to watch, glad we get to see one more game! Go girls, you're the best!!!

It was a VERY physical game and Candace got thrown around several times, even ESPN replayed several of those episodes. You could see she was not at 100% because most of those 6-for-27 shots she attempted would have gone in any other time. I've said it before, Candace is a warrior and it showed last night. I hope she feels more comfortable in the brace by Tuesday night and I would really love to pay Stanford back for that loss earlier and win #8 while we're at it. Go Lady Vols! Keep playing like the Champions you are!!!

Remember what we did against DePaul, all nine Lady Vols in the game scored, several of them in double figures, and Candace was out the entire first half. We can do it. LSU is tougher than DePaul and definitely has plans to knock us out in this game, but we know them and we know what we have to do to win. GO GIRLS!!!

Seriously, Candace Parker is a Warrior, she should get every available award in Women's basketball for her consistent outstanding play, especially after her fantastic display last night!!! So proud we can claim her as a Lady Vol, what an all round great competitor!!!
Alexis, that 3-pointer was breathtaking! Love you girl!!!
Let's beat LSU, I can't stand the thought of the season ending even one game too soon!!! Go Lady Vols!!

I don't get to see many games in person but I got to go to Senior Night and it was so fun!! I am really proud of this senior class, probably because I started watching the Lady Vols about the time they all came on board. I will miss each one of them A LOT!!! By the way, anosikefan, Nicky's family's plane was late but they got there in time for a special presentation and a well-deserved standing ovation for Nicky. Congratulations to all the seniors and the whole team. Go Lady Vols!

If the Lady Vols had put forth a little more effort, especially against Rutgers and LSU, our men's and women's teams could have both been #1 at the same time, now that would be one for the record books, I would think. It's frustrating to watch them right now, they've got all the talent needed to win #8 but talent is nothing by itself, it needs motivation to go along with it. I wonder if they had gotten their rings earlier if it would have helped them remember we are the defending NATIONAL CHAMPIONS, why can't we play with a little more energy??? 20,000 fans is more than were at the Memphis-Vols men's game, that doesn't do anything for you at all?? Come on Lady Vols, win or lose, your fans just want to see you do your best!!!

I have loved watching these three, I think Nicky and Lex especially flew below the radar in many ways as their contributions were not always as visible on the stat sheet. I have been so impressed with them and will miss them very much. Alex Fuller has said she is ready to step up, and Cait is too. We'll see. Best wishes to Nicky, Lex, Shannon, Alberta and Candace, I sure wish it was a little easier to see your WNBA games, but we'll keep track of you. Thanks for some of the best Lady Vol seasons ever!
