Rich Vol--I remember the clemson game and that play was exactly as you described it. I don't quite remember, but I know he threw the ball from somewhere way upfield near the 35 or so. Flutie's play to beat Miami is more famous, but that 2-point conversion was a lot more miraculous. There will never be another like Condredge.

Ainge is in a perfect position to move in and be the starter with the Jets. Pennington has been on thin ice for a long time and if they were that high on Clemons they wouldn't have picked up Ainge. He could turn into a 5th round steal for them.

I regularly go to basketball and football games at the Syracuse Carrier Dome where they allow beer sales(on campus) and it doesn't seem to be that big a deal. They check ID's like anywhere else and it's probably a good source of revenue for the school. Let it flow!

The most painful thing about going to last weekend's UT-Alabama game wasn't the effort or the result as much as having to sit amidst a sea of Alabama fans who had no doubt bought their tickets from UT season ticket holders on the internet. I could see passing up Wyoming or Northern Illinois, but to no show on your team for a big game like Bama is inexcusable. I travelled 800 miles to see that game and I was proud to support the Vols. The bandwagon fans need to forget about beating the traffic and get behind the team. Go Vols!
On Vols hardpressed to keep bowling
