Phil should go all out and hire Lou Holtz. He could help him with PEP talks and filling out charts. Phil will still call the same old plays so no need for an offensive genius. And Phil only needs 15 minutes to re-teach the team how to tackle so why do we need a young, smart, talented, forward thinking OC?
GO LOU!!!!

On Fulmer seeking 'right person'

I hope KY puts 70 points on them. I hate FSU almost as bad as Fla, Miami and ND. GO SEC!

TDTN,

WOW, YOU KNOW THE PAC-10 and BIG-10 teams! We are so honored to have such an important member of the college football system on our board. Does the Pac-10 or Big-10 call you for advise on how to play and who should coach also? You seem to know it all and have an answer for everything. I bet those " friends" you are talking about are the people that talk to you when you are cleaning thier bed pans! you are pathetic!

On Vols' take on LSU: Hold that line

Footbal is an Ebb and Flow thing. Every team and coach has ups and downs. The perenial powers of ND,Miami,Fl St, Mich,Penn St ect.. all have, or have been, very down the last few years. Coaching changes did nothing to bring some of them back up to where they were a few yaers back. TN is on the up swing of the pendulum. Coaches and players make mistakes that loose games. I hear to much, shuda, couda, wouda on here by people that probably never played ball in thier lives let alone could coach a game.Armchair coaches and QB's are useless. I would rather be where we are with Fulmer and the vols then with any of the above mentioned perenial powers. GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On Strange: Fulmer to be compensated after one of his better jobs

We have not been able to pressure anyone all year. What makes the coaches think that this game will be any different? Better plan on tryig to contain the QB, he can run! I wish ainge had just 10% of that scrambling ability. We can win with a good game on both sides of the ball. whoever turns over the ball most loses this one. GO VOLS!!

On Vols' goal to find pass rush against 'Cats

Let's save all the bowl prognostication ti'll after we play this next game. You might as well be predicting where we will be playing next year, makes no sense. If we lose this weekend we will be in Nashville, WIN and our options grow wider. It's all a money thing anyways, unless we win out!

On Cotton picking: It's looking like Vols

Posted on November 19 at 11:21 a.m.

IF TN coaches stick to the game plan they will win. Look at what Vandy did, changed the game plan and ended up losing ( by 6 inches ). Imagine who would be packing up the crap in thier offices this morning if that kick had gone 6 inches to the right!! We lucked out against Vandy, lets pray luck has nothing to do with this weeks outcome.

On Strange: 22 years of losing is all Kentucky needs

Great win. Sad that only 6K people show up to such a match up.

On Parker, Bobbitt help Lady Vols survive

I wish old Fulmer could motivate the Team like richt has motivated GA. That team is fired up! From start to finish they look like a bunch of demon possed players. GA is looking to play LSU in Atlanta and acting like it. I wish Fulmer and his staff acted that way. "By Golley if our guys just be nice and behave like gentlemen maybe we can win out and save my job!" - ( fulmers demenor )

On Can Vols handle role of favorite?

Posted on November 13 at 7:19 a.m.

After the way we have played in the big games and our pitiful play in the last few bowl games we only deserve the Music City Bowl. Let's be honest, you get what you deserve and we don't deserve a big time bowl game with the 3 huge losses we had this year. GO VOLS!
