As a avid UT fan and graduate living in Athens, GA, it is tough to read that UGA just got their 11the 2009 committement and to know that UT has not, as usual, receiving any significant 2009 committment!

It is embarassing to see UT get beat week after week by teams scoring 6, 8, 10,or 12 runs. UT baseball is dead last in their division because they have not recruited quality pitcher and UT football will be dead last in their division because they have not recruited defensive or offensive lineman!

Losing Cutcliff and Cooper at this time of the year will be devastating to UT recruiting. Fulmer made a serious mistake letting Cooper go. Just like he made the same mistake in letting University of Georgia steal R.Gardner was a serious mistake. Gardner has help make UGA one of the top scholls in football talent. They alread have 24 committments, UT only 12 and by the way only 2 lineman, can you believe that!

I am a Volunter living in Athens, GA. Last year was a fun year, but most years I catch it from the Dog fans. Coach Mark Richt is one of the most outstanding persons I have ever met. He is a devout Christian, unimpeachable character and excellent coach. I can understand how a mom would want his coaching their son. The last count I have, UGA has 16-17 committments for 2008, mostly "ceam of the crop." What concernsme is that UT has only 7 committments, down one from a month ago. IF UT DOESN'T SIGN THE BEST PLAYERS FROM TENNESSEE WE ARE IN BIG TROUBLE, AND WE HAD BETTER GET A LOT OF COMMITTMENTS FROM LINEMAN !

I very strongly agree with Spuchy, our UT colors are Orange and White, not BLACK, orange and white,PAT NOT BLUE, ORANGE & WHITE. IF I AM NOT MISTAKEN, IT WAS THE MEN'S BASKETBALL COACH THAT FIRST INTRODUCED THE BLUE INTO THE BASKETBALL OUTFITS.

With such incompetent recruiting, no wonder UT had one of the worst baseball teams in the SEC. With similiar inept recruiting in football, look for UT to suffer a free-fall in football stature that I believe will begin in 2008 and by 2009 UT will have more losses than wins unless drastic changes are made in coaching!
