I almost cried y'all. The reality of this situation is so much harder to take than I thought it would be. Sad day for us all, even if you're too stubborn to understand it right now.
I know, I know. At the end of the day it's all about the W. That's why he gets the monster paycheck. But watching that man deliver his speech, he is hurt. Truly hurt and some of you just beat on him relentlessly like he just killed your family. All he did was lose some games. Stupid games. And he's worked so hard this season to turn a negative into a positive.
I have a greater appreciation for Mike Hamilton through this whole situation, too.
To summarize, all I have to say is, that when I actually got what I wanted, I really didn't want it in the first place. Sad, sad day.

I bet you all of the head coaches in the SEC are in shock. Thank you so much Phil. Thank you thank you thank you for everything.

If he is indeed stepping down, the least that some of you could do is show respect for the man. He's dedicated an enormous amount of his life to this school, and he's earned respect from every single one of us. He's gotten us a national championship and 2 SEC championships. He's given us alot of memories, both good and bad, and none of those would I trade for anything. Thank you coach Fulmer. From a Vol fan who became a supporter at the 1998 Houston game.

Watch us lose to State then beat Bama. Then Fulmer will keep his job. Blah. I want us to win, but the desire for change is too strong.

Montario has BEEN the option since UCLA. Hardesty, Creer, Foster...in that order. Coaching gets an F. QB gets an F. Our defense is awesome, but it doesn't matter because we don't have an offense.

Carroll could do more with our talent than our current coaching staff.

The boos were not for the players. They were for the coaching decisions/indecisions and lack of overall good coaching.

This is a bad idea. Leach or Gruden. But a Leach commitment could come after the bowling season, which could be really bad. Seems that the best option could be Gruden if we could get him to come. Lane Kiffin, while I'm afraid of his youth in this position, I'm also very secure in it. He's got alot to prove, but I think he knows it and could manage it. I'm up in the air honestly. This is just bad all the way around when you consider the recruits we're possibly getting...
