Tyler still needs another year. He is a talent, but he is a tweener at 6'7". I remember Ron Slay being in a similar situation and was not able to make the NBA. I hope Tyler builds his game at UT, so he can stick in the NBA.

Give the coach to Indiana crap a rest. His son is a sophmore on the team. Just because he is on some University's wish list, don't not mean much!

Pearl has a son that plays for UT, why would he move now anyways. Just because a "Columnist" puts Pearl on a list does not mean diddly! Pearl can name his ticket with UT and he knows it. Fulmer and Summitt are two of the highest paid coaches in these respective sports. Pearl has a gold mine here and this can be a place where other good coach will want to be.

Buzz did things the right way, unfortunately it did not lead to wins, he struggled to get his team to win in close games. Pearl has found a way with the same talent. He has done well to recruit from that point as well. The future looks bright for UT and the Vols basketball team.

This was an awesome win and a GREAT game, ESPN is still talking about it. The VOLS need to stay focused because Vandy, Kenturkey and Florida are still to come. All are quality teams. Keep focused and humble UT. Go Vols!

Fulmer has the courage, loyalty, morals and integrity that few have in this world. He stands for what he believes and is real. If I had a son that had the ability to play Division I football, I would be honored to have him coach my son.
I have coached many kids in my life in basketball, softball and soccer without compensation or expectation of even a thank you from a parent for the love of the kids and the game. Fulmer does the same only this is what he does for a living at a high profile level. You could not pay me to do what he does, being under a microscope, everyone second guessing his every move and action.
Walk a day in his shoes before casting a stone in his direction. The players are the ones that matter and is he preparing them for the real world that is after college.

I lived in Knoxville for 12 years and just so happen to have a similar name as Mr. Adams. I am glad I moved and don't have to hear/read the crap he writes on a daily basis or be confused with my namesake and his lousy journalist.
What happened to addressing and accentuating positives of sports in Knoxville. Kids that excel, teams that overachieve, students that prepare for life in the "Real World" that come from the University. Throw out crap like this and be willing to get it back.
Fulmer is not the most charismatic and charming coach, but he has been a consistent winner. Only one team can win a championship each year out of 110 or so teams. Expectations are way beyond what they should be in Knoxville.
Adams write something that your namesake might actually be proud of you writing or find a different job.

Beautiful, absolutely beautiful! These girls were inspired tonight. All those who picked Stanford to win just added fuel to the fire and made them even more determined to win. Congrats, ladies!
