I don't know about Leach's pirate fetish, nor am I sure he's the right guy to lead the Vols. I will say that if we can find a coach that wins, he can dress up like Captain Jack Sparrow for all I care.

Listened to "Touchdown Tennessee" while doing a little running today and got really excited about this game. I thought we might actually do something special. What a shmuck I am. It's getting harder and harder to be an optimist with this program.

So far this year I've had to explain to people here in Louisville booing at home, beating No. Illinois by 4 or whatever and now paper bags on national TV? Good Lord. Maybe it's best our games aren't aired for a while.

I don't know about UK fans being more knowledgeable than UT fans. I live in Kentucky and hear quite a bit of silly talk from them. Case in point- after the SEC regular season was over they had people talking about UK as a 7 or 8 seed. Truth be told, UK, UT and every other university has knucklehead fans. They're too caught up in the Tubby v. Billy Clyde question to care much about anything else, anyway.
