How stupid can they get? It is a shame that they have both ruined promising careers. This could be their last chance to make something of themselves and they have both blown it.

I read with pleasure Robert Ayers comment concerning John Adams. It's good to know that even some football players hold Adams in such disdain. If more players would refuse to talk to these guys maybe they would begin to discover that the media need the players and not the other way around. I will always believe that the reason the media only gets to watch 30 mins of "vanilla" practices is because of Adams and Hooker. Coach Fulmer, I think would like to open practices to some media but he really can't do that without opening it to all. Before Adams arrived there was never a problem.

Hey guys... In case you hadn't noticed... No one cares about what your opinion is unless it conflicts with thier own. All anyone here wants is to push thier position or thier opinion. You can argue but they just play the game of " can you top this" or " you don't know what you are talking about I am the only one with any real knowledge."
Well anyhow...that is my position and my opinion.

Adams is a classless opinionist who is too lazy to write something fresh and new. He pulls out garbage like this and the next 10 will be and fills space in the newspaper. He relies on records provided by others and he insinuates rather than writing the truth.
He is so blinded by his dislke of Coach Fulmer that he clouds every thing he says bout him with accusations and innuendo.
As long as he writes this trash and as long as they provide a comment section, I will comment in kind in rebuttal of his negative slant on sports at the University of Tennessee.

A very safe article after his hatchett job on Fulmer. For me however he will never again have any credibilty.

Rabidvolfan.... You need to go get you Rabies shot. Your lack of a brain is showing. The only thing evil and deceitful here is you. You are the liar here...... And you are a gutless piece of garbage who hides behind a screen name and spews his PUKE. There is no bigger Johnny Majors fan than I am anywhere. Phil Fulmer did the only thing he could do when he was offered the Head Coaches job. He accepted.
Further more in my opinion, it is not "crying" when a man speaks out against what he knows is not true when he has been accused by a know nothing writer who has an agenda to hurt Fulmer and Tennessee football in any way he can.
Phil Fulmer did not attack John Adams today and he did not duck responsibilty for anything. What he did was call out Adams as any man should after having his integrity and his manhood questioned.
Personally, I would have looked Adams up and asked him for a retraction... failing to get one I would have punched him out. That is the way things used to be done. But I would probably have been arrested for mistreating a mentally retarded, classless, wormy punk.
Phil Fulmer has too much class to go that far.

In my opinion: Adams lied on the Finebaum show. He said that response to his article was 75% positive in his favor and 25 % in Fulmer's favor. He also claimed thet Coquitt had already had one DUI before this one. WRONG. Regardless of what he lied about or what he is mistaken about,but he will not be the big loser in this. He has his paper and he has the time and the INK to write every day if he chooses . His reponse to Fulmer's article will come only after he has had time as a writer to construct and choose his words after a brainstorming session with Hooker , Strange ,Griffith and others. I am sure that he will take Fulmer's column apart piece by piece. Hooker on his radio show today already accused Fulmer of lying in his column.
I have bought my NS carrier sales person a HUGE bottle of white out and am paying her extra to white out any thing Adams writes about.
In my opinion: He is a know nothing jerk without one ounce of integrity and wouldn't know what to do in any one on one situation requiring thought. He doesn't deserve to be followed by readers and he doesn't deserve the respect of anyone.
