Those who choose to belittle and/or make snide remarks regarding Fulmer lower themselves immensely. He has given the majority of his life to making Tennessee better--and has done so with class ( you belitters could take a lesson from that ). Everyone makes mistakes. But his departure should be marked with " thanks for a job well done and God speed ",not vitriol.

On Guest list for Fulmer is more than 150

How small does this make the coaches look? They seem to have the mentality of a bunch of twelve year old girls jealous of one of their peers.

"foolmore"....what an apropos moniker! All he has to do is look in the mirror every morning and be reminded what a "fool" he is. Go Big Orange !

Go to the USA Today college football section. KEN, IOWA,ALA,S.C.,PENN ST.,LSU,SO. MISS.,SMU are all suspending players. Saban's comment--" off campus violations are piling up ". Perrilloux is suspended for the third time, shouldn't Miles kick him off the team?

A passing thought while on the subject of football; S.C. has just suspended ANOTHER player for rules violations. And did I read where a player was arrested for armed robbery at another SEC school? There must be a geographical mistake and it was really Knoxville where all this is happening. Could it be other schools have thug problems---surely not, according to some!

Most of the time the "silent majority" is just that, silent. But there comes a time when a man must stand up for himself and his own high-ground principles. Fulmer and his supporters are doing just that. He (Fulmer) is to be applauded. Those miserable few who themselves could not stand the slightest scrutiny on their own pitiful job performances ( if they have jobs ), expose their shortcomings by displaying the same old inane rhetoric over and over.

On Coach's first job is as educator, mentor

Name calling is always a sign of someone with a lower IQ ( the_vol and rickj ), kind of like a bunch of eight year old kids. The more success Fulmer has the more frustrated these pseudo-fans get.So we had a recruiting year not up to our normal( i.e. FULMER ) standards. It was #3 last year and will likely be top five next year. You legions of the miserable need to become movie critics where logical thinking is not required.

It must be a sad,sad day for the low brow naysayers on this site. I pity their poor families who must now bear the brunt of their mis-placed wrath. A ten win season, a New Year's Day bowl victory, and great new hires! Oh woe is me!

The uninformed or just plain ignorant among the writers to this site SHOULD get a clue from this Kentucky coaching fiasco. When you have a good coach don't wail for a change jusy because the team does not win a national championship every year.
