Careful people. Being mad as heck about losing on your home field is expected.....but don't let your emotions run so high that you start smack-talking your players. They will still be there next year & are students at the school that is providing you with your beloved football entertainment. If it wasn't for them, you wouldn't be able to even go to a game. Some of these comments about Rogers and others are so classless. I would wager that the people who run the mouth like that are stuffing there fat butts with twinkies & have body fat above 50%. There are many SEC fans who share your pain because we've all been there, but don't burn down the house to get rid of the rats! Better day's are not far off.

Bobby Johnson might like a raise & nicer diggs.

Go get Bobby Johnson from Vanderbilt. Look at what he can do with limited talent.

Take it from a Gator fan who went through the firing of Zook & all the bad times that went along with that.... don't bash your players (unless they deserve it by opening their mouths when they shouldn't) They are suffering to. They all came to your fine Univerity expecting to play for a national powerhouse, not to wallow around at the mercy of a poor coaching staff. Please remember that after the coaches are gone, if you actually get them to leave, the players will still be there & they need support from the fan base to keep motivated & playing their hearts out.

I can't believe the author of the article actually tried to slide some of the blame for lower attendance on gas prices & the economy. I wonder if he gets a check from the athletic department on the side for each article? He is trying to make the fan's only way to show their unhappiness insignificant by dismissing it as something other that what it really is. What an insult to all the fans who refused to go to the game to make a statement to the administration. I feel sorry for those of you who fit in this category.

Spurrier's not done yet. If he can ever get the recruiting turned around from the decline it suffered over the previous decades he will start vieing for the SEC again. He's got to have skill players first. Foolmer on the other hand has already had and currently has enough skill players to be sucessful. He just depends on his assistant coaches to win for him, not the other way around. Big difference.

HOLY COW GUY's
I thought we got mean & ugly when we were running Zook out of town on a midnight boxcar, but we look like amatures compared to what's going on up there now. I've never, ever heard of a previous coach saying stuff like that! WOW. {BTW, good luck w/your coach issue, it sucks to be in that position.}

Uh....point of order mr. tnbuco393180:
Love has nothing to do with it. Just ask our offensive coordinator. (Dan Mullen) If he comes up with many more game plans & play calls like he did last weekend, he's likely the next available coach. The stadium was humming with not-so-nice comments about his choice of play calls both during & after the game. My wife was calling the plays with +/- 90% accuracy before the team even broke the huddle. That will put him on the same bus Zook took if he doesn't change....and quick!

We considered it, but you were already doing such a good job of self-imploding we just sat back and watched with the rest of the conference.
On Rocky bottom: Vols (3-7) not eligible for bowl game
