Ike, In all fairness, Tee Martin sat for his freshman and sophomore years behind some guy named Manning and never got anything but a few meaningless snaps! He did OK when it was his time, didn't he? Get real about JC. He's even gotten to play/start some real SEC games before this year, so what do you mean no experience? He's supposedly been learning from an NFL QB(Ainge) and a darn good OC(Cut) for the last 3 years! Stop being an aplogist for the guy, he's just flat out not gettin' it done.

I've only been watching the Vols since the late 60's and JC is hands down the worst I've ever seen behind the center wearing the Orange. Matter of fact, it's not close. And lest we forget, he has had 3 full years of prep for this, working behind an NFL QB and a darn good OC in Cutcliffe. Coach Fulmer must make a change or he could be looking at a pink slip by the end of the year.

Selfishly, I wish we could RS Douglas. He's not ready for prime time and the injury will hold him back.

Ashy, the Southerngirl may be a bit close to the situation on this one, but you have to admit, no mention by SS of any other kiddos during his "preachin'" is a bit strange, at the very least. I'm just sayin, 10 kids?? But you're right too, if someone is abusive, disorderly, etc., cut ties and move on.

And uhh, DC, didn't Berry return a TBone pass 93 yards the other direction? Did you somehow selectively forget that? Pretty sure that was a record setting return in Vol history for longest INT for a TD, if not mistaken. So your assessment of "downright bad" is "downright incorrect". Go hang out with Noah in Gainesville and get your facts straight before you post.

Lots of negative comments, but count me out as one of the fair weather fans like the girl interviewed in the article. I'll always be a Vol fan regardless. I mean, what, you only support the team if they're winning big time? C'mon, all programs have rough times. I live in TX and I've seen the other UT struggle, Oklahoma struggle, and FL had the Zook years, so no team is immune. I guess you truly can't make everybody happy all the time.
