That game just guaranteed a sell out in TBA on Jan. 7, Looking forward to a rowdy one.

Griff,
UT has played in the arena before 1988. in 1979 Devoe's first year we won the SEC tourney and played two NCAA games there, beating Eastern Kentucky and later losing to Notre Dame. I am unsure but Orlando Woolridge might have been on that team. Hows that for a little irony.

When I attended UT in the mid 80s students had a saying called "The Big Orange Screw" which was used when you couldn't get the classes you needed or couldn't get a parking space. Today I think you can call it the "Big Orange Spin" AD Hamilton says we can't sell out the UAB game because of HD television and sheep reporters are saying that recruits are decommiting because of booing. Gee I thought both intstances could be attributed to the reason that I team is terrible. Does no one know how to tell it like it is.

The boos are only part of the ugly equation. Nunes and family have seen the writing on the wall. Bottom line is he does not want to be a part of a sinking ship. All Vol fans have seen this coming in the last few years. The program is in decline. Our talent level is not on par with other programs in the SEC. Our team has been ill prepared on several occasions. Booing does not help but that is not the reason for Nunes de-commit. Tell the real reason Dave. He does not want to come to a team that is on the decline.

They did take it easy on us late 3rd and all of the 4th quarters. Hopefully Phil will see the writing on the wall and do the classy thing and resign.
