Let me wonder a little, too. Could it possibly be that the problems UT was experiencing were things all major programs experience? Could it be that UT's problems were minor compared to programs like Alabama, LSU and Georgia? Could it be that John Adams made a stupid reach in blaming Coach Fulmer for former players getting into trouble years after they left school, in his haste to bash Fulmer and UT? Hmmmmmmm...

Exactly, volster. How many other Georgia fans do you know that had an absence of obnoxiousness (is that really a word)? This could very well be the end of an era.

volster, I don't thik Uga drooled as much as most Georia fans. He certainly seemed to understand the game better. I say he was likeable because he was the least obnoxious Georgia fan in the stadium.

Uga was perhaps the most likeable representative of the University of Georgia, besides being the best looking and the smartest. He just never really recovered from that beat-down in Knoxville last year.

Adams, I know you have to be feeling pretty foolish right now. Are you going to be man enough to admit that you wrote a hasty article condemning Coach Fulmer for problems that all major schools are having? Your silence speaks volumes as to your character, or lack thereof.

UT still ranks in the bottom half of the SEC for coach's salaries. Why is that? Regardless of what your opinion is of Coach Fulmer, hard to say he doesn't deserve a raise that puts him at 7th among SEC coaches.
