I agree...anyone who thinks Tebow will not be a good NFL QB is crazy. Sure, I doubt he will be allowed to run the football as much as he does in college, but Tebow is a gifted athlete and will excel in the NFL - and I predict he will be a great NFL QB. Book it. And for it's worth, it looks like the Titans are gonna have a rough road ahead this year depsite being a talented team...visions of drafting Eric Berry are dancing through my head - they could have used him today to slow down Matt Schaub.
I watched these guys grow up at church and play for White House (my alma mater as well)So glad to see them earn scholarships and succeed! Way to go guys!Go Vols!

Yeah, Neyland, I have been wondering the same thing...I'm not crazy about them to be honest...I prefer the classic look. And I have never liked the fact that we signed with addidas...I wish we had signed with Nike years ago.

Well said...let's face it, it's fun to follow recruiting and see where kids are ranked, but it doesn't mean ANYTHING until they sign the ORANGE DOTTED LINE and prove themselves on and off the field. Who are we to say what's best for a kid and his family? No one should put a recruit down if they simply don't choose UT. But if they do, let's cheer on the ones we get!

Here's the bottom line...NOTHING HAPPENS UNTIL THEY SIGN IN FEBRUARY...a commit means nothing until THEY SIGN! Hand Sroggins a nice shiny Mont Blanc and practice signing on the ORANGE DOTTED LINE.
My guess is we pretty much know Scroggins is out of the picture...if he was ever seriously considering UT or not...who knows.

OK fans, this is totally hearsay, but a friend of mine knows a guy that works in the UT athletic dept. and he said that they already are working behind the scenes on Phil's buyout, so at least he "resigns with some dignity"--and that this would happen immediately at season's end.My friend also said they are targeting Mike McCarthy of the Green Bay packers...doesn't make much sense to me, but oh well, rumors are flying around everywhere...
