I’m with you on that one that's some funny stuff but very true! Obama will see that colleges have a playoff system very soon--right after all the universities are broke and can't afford to field athletic events anymore due the total economic meltdown!

Good post and it’s very true- the expectations that they must live up to is truly inconceivable most of us.

The best UT Coach left last year when we let Cutcliff go. Fulmer has been successful the last 10 years when Cutcliff was our O.C.- The numbers speak for themselves!

I have to agree with you. He is hot right now and with so many coaches on the bubble I would much rather have him on our side than down at Auburn.

What makes Kelly and Davis any better than Leach? So what if he is quirky as long as those quirks can win games that's what we want to see!

This football team is nothing but a bunch of cry babies! They were all so mad and pi@@ed off because CPF was fired they could not understand? Josh Briscoe said why this to make a doller? Then what do they do go out & play as a pathetic excuse for a football team that has ever walked on the field at Neyland!! Way to go team you shure showed how much respect & love you had for CPF. You showed your true colors that you are nothing but a bunch off undisciplined young men, that has played the whole season like they only half wanted to even be on the field!! Yes CPF was the CEO & he let this creep into the program until it has stringled it. Yes he should have gotten what he got in the end. Yet this team needs to look itself in the face & understand that they have let down, humiliated, a good men & a good coach that truely had their interest at heart. Itdoes not matter what your opinion of CPF I think he deserved better than to go out this way! Who ever the new coach is he needs to be a tuff disciplinarian along with recruiter, offensive guru what ever because he is going to be getting a bunch of babies! and Mr. Brisco if you have to ask the question why?? Are you really a college student? Have you taken an economics class before????

volnmdtn - NCAA scholorships are year to year & yes the new coach can send any of them packing that he want's. Just like Pearl did when he came to town.

1988 was really bad I remember seeing Johhnie Majors in Church every Sunday looking like he was hung over from the Saturday fiasco's!

On Poll: In the last 45 years Tennessee’s football team has only lost six games in a season five times. Which team was the biggest disappointment?

No one gave us a chance at home against Georgia last year yet we pulled it! Anything is possible!

This is the best team in Tennessee! That really seems strange saying that.

Good thing we don't play Memphis, Middle Tennessee and UTC!

On Vandy is 5-0 for the first time since 1943
