Information on how to aid the victims of the deadly tornado in Oklahoma
Thanks for your effort and loyalty Kenny, we'll miss you.
I hope he has a great game today. We'll miss you Skylar.
Way to go bench!
Who gives a rats rear what they do in practice? Our team kicked their butts, period. Funny that there's no coverage of the crying that went on in their locker room in TBA after that record setting beat down.
"With 3:21 left, O’Bryant missed in close, McRae beat him to the rebound and O’Bryant was whistled for his fifth foul."
I thought that was his best play of the game. McRae was a superstar tonight!
Another solid victory for our team. GO VOLS!!!
GO ARMANI!!!!!!!!!!!
in response to underthehill: 37 - 22 rebounding edge for the Vols..could have won by a much larger margin by cutting down on the turnovers..Armani Moore continues to make progress and looks like a future All SEC type..or more..quick hands and feet..excellent anticipation as to where the ball will come off on a missed shot..excellent rebounder and defender..strong competitor..talent that will shine with a bit more experience..I really like that Martin is getting the young guys more involved..

I totally agree! Armani seems to get better with each play. I like his energy, athleticism and that excellent anticipation. His blocks are a crowd pleaser too.
Musberger needs to go. I had a moment of acid reflux when I saw he was going to be the announcer. Can't ABC/ESPN find someone better? Lecherous old man.
Maybe with Terry's experience in the secondary, he can help improve that part of our team. We need it.
Classless jerks, just like their coach.
Welcome coach, you look great in orange. GBO!
Almost immediately, Adams has Jones on the hot seat two years from now. Adams the psychic. Hire Petrino? What an idiot!
I thought we had a chance to get Strong but I guess he likes the low pressure job of playing for his conference championship in front of a 55,000 seat stadium that's 3/4 full.
I am so thankful that Cuonzo Martin is our basketball coach.
They have now.
Wish they could play now but this is a significant accomplishment for Holly. Putting a great coaching team together and then a great recruiting class in her first year were her most important steps as the new leader of the Lady Vols. She's accomplished them both with the precision and execution we've come to expect from Pat. Congratulations to Holly and all of the Lady Vols coaching staff.
in response to RoyaltyVol: You must have been asleep those great years at UT with Cutcliff as OC and Chavis was DC. Our program started downhill when Cutcliff left, oh how everyone forgets. Cutcliff isnt my first pick but he would be a solid pick and as far as Randy Sanders, Id hire him as QB coach, he did alright with Peyton and Tee. We need a coach who either has played or coached at UT because they understand Tennessee tradition. We want someone who bleeds orange and isnt just coming for the $$

I totally disagree. Saban had no ties to bama and look where they are. You don't need someone who bleeds orange. Pay someone an obscene amount of money and make us winners.
Like I said when you recommended Petrino and Tuberville, you really do hate UT, don't you?
Petrino or Tuberville? You really do hate UT, don't you?
HIRE THE CHIEF!!!!!!!!
I think I hear the Sonny & Cher recording in the background, "and the beat goes on". Way to go Holly!
Shake it off, Devrin. This is a new week.
GO BIG ORANGE!!!!!!!
Why do you people respond to the trolls? Don't be so gullible. Ignore them and they will go away. No comments or quotes when they post, just ignore them. Go Vols!
Holdsclaws' jersey should be retired before Parkers'.
+1 for ambrown64! Last Friday was just the first step, not the final step, in restoring UT football.
So the gators won 4 more games than we did in the last 2 years and Dooleys' the one on the hotseat? Muschamp inherited Fort Knox compared to what DD got when he came to the hill.
I can't wait for 9/15!
in response to tennrich1: Just don't think using "ubiquitous" with that meaning fits just right....why didnt you just say "constant" or "never-ending"...ubiquitous means "everywhere"...Soooooo...as we have learned his panic can't be everywhere however it can be constant or never-ending...the harrassment would be much more fun for us if you would show a little cleverness....not much...just a little...

Why do people still respond to the rat? Just ignore the idiot!
It still hurts to think about it. Sure teaches a lesson though, doesn't it?
I don't want a 9 win season, I want a 14 win season.
Roberta picked the perfect husband and I think Mike Hamilton picked the perfect coach. Thanks Mike! We have a great man and a great coach. I hope he stays at our school for a long time.
I'm really excited to see the Vols take the court. This is going to be a big year for us.
Go Holly! Just like Pat, we are with you all the way.
Go Lady Vols!!!!!!
"I plan on being here for a long time..."
That's great to hear. Go Zo!!!!!!!!!!!
Go Kyra! It is still The University of Tennessee, the attendance leader in the nation. I guess recruits have to ask themselves, do I want to play in front of 14,000 plus? There may be great recruiters in other places but not that kind of support.
I'm sick of hearing about all these guys that are suing over concussions. They lead with their head when they tackle, run, etc. Of course they're going to get concussions. It's a violent sport. Some teams even pay their players to hurt other players. If they don't want to get hurt, they should have chosen a safer occupation.
People usually say what they mean. Sometimes they are made to apologize for it. That's the case here. I agree with a previous post, he won't be at Candy for long, but then, no one is.
Donovan is just making excuses for last year. We'll sweep them again this year and the Kittens too!
"11 conference commissioners and Notre Dame's athletic director"
I wish someone would grow a set and stop including ND. They're irrelevant and have been for a while now.
I watched it on TV. Bummer. The season isn't over ladies. The NCAA is next. You can do it!
Go Lady Vols!!!!
Ms. Rainey, you have a special son. You are a lucky lady.
"During Summitt's 38 years, every player who completed her four years of eligibility earned a degree."
This is the greatest accomplishment of her long career. I also think this is one record that won't be equaled. It is a testament to CPS and the wonderful women who have played for her and our university.

Yes it is.
in response to Ayres_Hall: Jeronne Maymon reminds me of Willis Read. How many of you young punkins know who I'm talking about?

I agree and with Wes Unseld (Stokes) out there with him, they make a mighty big duo. GO VOLS!
in response to AlexAndersonAAradio: Maybe she is recruiting him to take her place?

He's still the biggest a#$ in the world. I'm so glad he lost tonight. I hope he never wins another national championship.
I voted yes but I will surely cry real tears when she makes the announcement, whenever that occurs. She will always be the greatest of all time.
Thank you seniors! We are proud of you and the way you have represented our university. Regardless of the final results, this class has shown more character than any I can remember, that have worn the orange. I'm sure CPS and all the real UT fans feel that's more important than winning.
I can understand why Griner has only fouled out of one game ever. The LV shooting was bad, the officiating was worse.
in response to hueypilot: The best thing he did IMO is when they returned early am (like 3 am) due to some flight gliches and he told them he expected all of them to be in their early classes. Unlike Boeheim (sp?) who denied responsibility for his Syracuse players for anything other than basketball, Martin says he is preparing his players to be good men after basketball. While winning is important, it is important to me as a donor, a season ticket holder, and alum, father of three more alums, that he win the right way and his players represent our school well. I know, I know, winning winning winning, but I want them to do it the right way. In that regard, I am a big CM fan.

This alum totally agrees with you! We have a winner in CCM. I hope he stays at Rocky Top for a long long time.
