rivals recruiting is overrated if u ask me but we still need more commits. we got 2 5 star guys that will be on campus (i hope) next year in demetrice morley and brandon warren that i'm excited about. the future looks bright though. lets get a offensive staff in place an go to work...

On Hooker: Signing these big linemen would be a coup for Vols

melancon wasnt eligible so he went to la tech. brimfield is a big guy and i haven't heard much about him. i never say martin on the field but it says he had 7 tackles so i guess he didn't redshirt. langley i believe redshirted. so maybe there's a little hope for the D line. if bolden can keep his mouth shut and his grades up i think he'll be a force next year along with dan williams.....

"the new OC will figure out that the hot teams in college seem to have abandoned the drop back pocket passers who can't run. AKA Crompton."

hot teams? USC's been fairly dominant without it. i'd say georgia had a good year. michigan just beat the hated gators without the fancy spread offense. i'm not sold on it. it looks pretty but i trust having a smart guy drop back and actually read defenses. then having a back that can go up the gut an lay the wood...

On Next for Ainge is combine

they will all be big impacts. crompton has a better arm than ainge and is a more fiery competitor. that excites me however ainge was more cerebral and ran the offense extremely well and doesn't get near the credit he deserves. i'm excited about ahmad paige and ben martin. two guys who redshirted (or at least i think martin did) who just needed to gain a little weight...

On Poll: Which returning player will have the biggest impact for the Vols in 2008?

how many years will dmo have left? i thought he only played as a freshman....and i dunno if he played juco this year or what?

On Vols well stocked with talent for 2008

yal have no heart "take the money!" that's insane. what about playin for the orange? what about coming back for your senior year because your teammates need you? what about coming back because you owe it to tennessee (i. e. peyton manning). now unless his family needs the help or he has kids i think he should come back. we went to the SECCG this year with a bunch of freshman an sophomores. not to mention all of our injuries. we have a shot...

On Mayo, family, Fulmer to talk about NFL

meaningless bowl game? this is national exposure. there are no meaningless games in college football. that's been UT's problem for a while if they're out of contention or not playing for a national title the game is meaningless to them and they get gorrila stomped (see arkansas '06) i hope they have a lil pride about them this year an man up

On Cutcliffe won't shortchange UT, Duke

third saturday in oct: since they are playing in knoxville the refs will not help bama this year. sorry j.p. no roughing the passers when u throw one into the stands on 3rd an 13. also today nick saban will grow one inch to stand at 5'3. he will also be a good sport and blame every one of his seniors for the loss because he didn't recruit them.
GO VOLS

On Adams: Berry, Tebow run rampant; what's to come in 2008

and one of bama's elite 6 wins was to west. carolina....who is like a D2 school or whatever they renamed it. has UT ever played a D2 school? nah....didn't think so

to the 12times stud. who more recently won a national championship? has bama won a bcs championship? out of the last ten years who has won more head to head games? who has more players in the NFL? who loses to the all powerful sun belt conference? oh and i'd take fulmer in a fist fight with that giant saban all day. what is he? 5"6? ever heard of little man syndrome?
