What the HECK is THIS article all about! If I wanted to read ANYTHING about LSU I would go to THEIR web site! I have GoVolsxtra as my HOME page for 1 specific reason. It is SUPPOSED TO BE mainly about UT and the Vols!
I hope that Adams did NOT GET PAID for THIS CRAPPY ARTICLE!

On Adams: Gorilla limped out of Jungle for title bout

Georgia disqualified themselves by loosing to SC and to the Vols to have the right to compete for the SEC Championship and thus not being eligible to be considered for the BCS NC.
In my opinion, a team should win their conference championship game (if they have one) to be able to contend for the NC. Just my opinion.

That's why I spent my hard earned money on a DVD recorder - so I can record the game. Even if I know the outcome I still watch it because I----

This was the first time I have been able to watch our Lady Vols play this year, other than a selected few highlights of games. I realize that the bottom line is that we won the game but I am a little bit concerned that I did not see the "killer instinct" from our team that has been evident in teams of the past. We had the opportunities to put Carolina away several times but didn't. We let them slip back into the game. I also realize that we played an exceptional team but WE are an "extremely exceptional" team in our own right. Several of our big time players seemed to get brain freeze in the last several minutes of the game, which isn’t consistent with a Pat Summitt, coached team. On the other hand, Nicky's play in the last several moments of the game saddled with four fouls was exceptional. If we are going to repeat as NC we are going to have to get that "killer instinct" back, unlock our brains from freezing up at crucial times of the game and get on the boards offensively and defensively a lot more that we did. Overall, a great win for the Lady Vols that helps solidify our top ranking. We better get ready for the SEC grind as there are several teams looking real good - LSU and Georgia - to name a couple, that will pose a challenge to the Lady Vols.
On another note, the two announcers from ESPN, Mowins and the ex-Florida coach Peck, were so biased in their game presentation it made me sick to my stomach. But what do you expect from ESPN anyway. They have always been that way in regards to our Lady Vols. If it weren't for Kara Lawson it would be more evident than it already is. Next thing you know they will have Taurasi and Lobo announcing the game with "Beano" Geno doing the on court interviews.

On Adams: Stats don't reflect Anosike's value

Can someone give me the answer to this question:
Why was the unsportsmanlike penalty on Foster inforced on the next overtime series but yet the flagrant facemask penalty on KY against Berry's return not enforced into the next overtime period. What was the difference? The facemask penalty was a more flagrant type of penalty that could have caused serious injury. The unsportsmanlike penalty was after the play had ended and was not directed toward an opposing player. What if Berry had been seriously injured on the facemask takedown? It seems like there is serious adjustment needed on penalty enforcement in the overtime process. Go Vols!

Hire-SLanders: Coach Summitt is probably more of a "Man" than you are considering your on-going snide remarks with every article. And, by the way, her last name is spelled SUMMITT with 2 T's.

On Parker, Bobbitt help Lady Vols survive

By far Pat Summitt is the leader of the pack in the list of individuals selected by U.S. News and World Report magazine. Her accomplishments off the court in dealing with individual lives by far out weighs the high accomplishments made on the court.
It is about time that she received the recognition she deserves for moulding, mentoring and influencing the lives of so many Student Atheletes, not only women, but men as well. The University of Tennessee is SO blessed to be able to call Pat Summitt one of it's own and so should every single booster, fan and follower of the Volunteer Nation. Not only has she been a tremendous influence on our Student Atheletes but on MANY individuals in the area and across the country as well. I, for one, AM PROUD to be able to call her OUR Coach as I am sure many more of the Big Orange family feel the same as I do. THANK YOU PAT! Thank you for your Leadership, Determination and Faithfulness to our young people.

On Summitt calls leadership award one of a kind
