I would have loved to have him as a VOL but I will be able to watch him here in the Triangle. UHC basketball is everything over here. Like football is to us. Roy is a clean recruiter - no SUV's under the table. That is a stupid and uninformed comment. Big programs like UNC (& DUKE) don't have to go under the table. I love my VOLS but I respect ACC basketball and the local coaches integrity.

That kid from ECU is fast. I have seen a few ECU games ( ACC opponents = UNC & NC State) and he could be a big help to the Titans on returns as well as breakaway speed from the backfield. Give him a chance. Many NFL stars did not go to prestige schools.

Who cares what the pros think of Erik or even if he makes it in the NFL ( I hope he does so he can make some big $$ [300K NFL minimum] for a few years b4 he enters our real world of 40hr work weeks. Erik was and always will be a VOL. He loved this school enough to cross the country to come to UT from Oregon and stay his 4 years. We all owe him our well wishes and Welcome him back whenever he can come to Neyland for a visit. I hope he settles in K-ville like Reviez and others have.Good Luck Erik.

I went to the Duke spring game. They had a record crowd of 3100 show up on a beautiful afternoon. So many people they actually ran out of BBQ.The Game was booooring. A 7-3 masterpiece until a late fumble on the 4 yd line or so made it 14 - 3.
Lots of 3 yd. passes. There was 1 long run for a TD that was fun.Cut at halftime implored people to purchase season tickets (90.00 for sideline and 4 for 125.00 for end zone)
Just a bit different than our beloved Vol Nation.

Big Don's Elegant Junk ! That brings back memories... You had to measure the khakis with a yardstick to get the waist size. That was when Knoxville had style. No bland franchise restaurants ( instead Smokey Mtn Markets) or up scale niche stores ( instead Big Don's)

Oh good, more obnoxious drunks of every age at concerts. Now they don't have to chug in the parking lot b4 entering. I can't wait.

20.00 to see the O & W? You are either trying to generate responses in this forum during the slow season or are not a donor and season ticket holder. Give 1500.00 in donations to get 2 season tickets and you'll think the O & W should be free and they should toss in 2 dogs.
Instead of the VASF BBQ day during the season they should have VASF 'double dog' day at the O & W for members. Call it 'Remember Smokey MTN Market' days for those of us who have followed the VOLS for 20 to 30 + years. 7 have eaten SMM dogs in the glory days of the campus b4 franchise restaurants took over.

I have been an alumni of UT for almost 30 yrs. I have never received so many e-mails trying to sell me season tickets and single game tickets, What happened to the waiting list that there was for season tickets for so many years?
I gave up mine several yrs ago due to the high costs of the contribution requirements and travel costs. With gas now going to 5.00 I bet a lot more 200+ milers will drop back to watching tv games only. Nashville to Bristol will be the season ticket holder base.
