We'll find out how our defense stacks-up against the run real quick. With their QB situation, we may be able to put an extra man in the box.

Let's be real about Adams, like Geraldo Rivera, he can say whatever's on his mind. The reality is that he's a mediocre writer at best, who generally only evokes the response, "There's 5 minutes of my life that'll I'll never get back" after someone reads one of his articles. This story has given him more publicity than he's had in years!

On TSWA honors Fulmer, Bennett

Seriously guys- this is not a bad class at all. We got some stud linebackers, more athletes in the secondary, and a luxury receiver. Yes, we could have used another DT or two, as well as an another OL, but we didn't need a whole lot of numbers from this class. Once the new staff is in place and adjusted, recruiting will be fine. Despite all those out there whose lives aren't complete unless they're griping, Fulmer knows how to recruit. And lets face it, in terms of speaking honestly with a recruit, what other coach in the SEC would you believe more than Fulmer?

Anybody see this article from ESPN about a hypothetical Petrino in-home session? Seems on the money.

On Arkansas, Petrino invading

It will surprise me if Petrino has huge recruiting success at Arkansas. How can anybody trust this guy? This is the guy who constantly talked about loyalty and commitment while coaching the Falcons, and then ABANDONS his players during the season. This is the same coach who, while at Louisville, did everything he could to undermine Tubberville in hopes of getting the Auburn job. As one of his former players said, "The NFL is a league for men, and Petrino realized that he didn't belong."

This guy is a snake oil salesman. A significant percentage of people will see him for what he is.

Bottom line is all we really need in this class are DTs, OLs, and a DE or two. Despite McGee's decision to go to OK, we're still in good shape to pick up what we need. Of course, it will come down to signing day, but we don't need a highly ranked class this year. We've just got to fill our needs.
