eb502us: I'm confused as to why you think PAT is the party who handled this poorly then say "If UConn did indeed cheat NCAA will take care of it.." which is precisely what she has been doing, not taking the bait every time Geno calls her out. And that's precisely why Geno does it--he knows she won't take the bait FOR THE GOOD OF THE GAME. She knows more than she is saying and how much it can hurt the game, reputations. He's blowing smoke, trying to take down as many as he can with him. And Pat is handling this poorly?

Tough couple of years for the Summitts, especially Pat and Tyler. Hope they can get on with their lives and find success and happiness. I agree with those who said that this matter was reported in a factual, tasteful manner, not much that hasn't been reported before. I gotta agree that the crawl on ESPN, if true was more than a tad tacky--maybe it was their way of making up with Geno?

Pat missed an opportunity for a great joke by not offering Pearl her Benz for those recruiting visits--I'm sure he would have gotten a much better deal!!!
