I happen to love the Orange pants! Dooley is sincere in getting us back to winning. TN is not a stepping stone as it was to Kiffen or anybody else that may have come in. We lost but the Vols are still my team. We have to remember Worley did some good things and not focus on the IT's. He'll get some good experience and get better. I know if frustrating but we need to keep supporting our kids. They work hard and I believe next year we'll be better. We will not win 8 games but we will improve.

Tennessee fans.. we are still rebuilding. Dooley will not get it done in 2 years or even 3. We do not have a full roster of 5 ***** players or the depth we need. The D came out strong but of offense did not click. That results in D getting really tired out there with no one to put in. Teams like LSU and Ala have 3-4 deep with top players. I am still a Vol Fan win or lose! It hurts but firing Dooley is not the answer. Even if Urban came in now, he would not win 9 games. So hang in there with these kids... they play hard.

Us Blue hairs as you say, have given our all for Tennessee for many years.Not only by being at the games but with our wallets as well.

My wife and I have given 40 years of football seasons to Newland Stadium and untold dollars in donations during that time. Just what the hel- have you given except your stupidity?

You don't realize how hard it is for some of us old Blue Hair fans to even get to the games anymore. Our old body and our voice dosen't work like it use to work but that dosen't make us any less of a fan nor any less excited while in the stands watching the game.

My Old Blue Haired wife will likely be attending the Vol games this year for the last time.She and Pat are in the same boat .This time next year,she may not even remember that Tennessee plays football.
I really don't want to believe you were meaning to be disrespectful with your post but you should be more careful with your choice of words.Us old blue haired fans will soon be gone for one reason or another only to be replaced by you and your OLD BLUE HAIR.

My Mom's a blue hair and 80 yrs old. She still puts on her Tennessee shirts and watches with the family. Even the younger generation would rather be at my Mom's on game day!! So give em heck OLD BLUE HAIR!!!!!!!

This 72 year old Vol fan is ready for some football! I sold hotdogs in the stadium starting back in 1951. When I was'nt working in the stands, I could get in free if I wore my High school Jacket with the letter on it.
I wrote this poem years ago.

“ Out Goes The Call”

When the pigskin takes flight on a Saturday night
down in Tennessee

And the hills are ablaze in an orange smoky haze
oh, what a glorious sight to see

The mighty men in Orange and White will come to fight
and thousands will come to see

And Oh, what a feeling in that fortress named Neyland (Nee-land)

Good grief: I have NEVER heard of a team that is SO injury prone. It would be comical if it weren't UT. If they don't have a knee injury when they get here, they suffer one soon after. Avant--an 18-year-old freshman--hardly played her freshman year after encountering one medical issue after another. 18 years old. Never seen anything like it.

I agree!! We seem to have soooooo many knee, ankle and shoulder injuries at UT.
