Memphis is looking stout, that is going to be one heck of a dogfight for us. Especially since we waxed them last year and beat them in their house the year before.

But for the game, what heart our boys have! They played their butts off to get that W. Ramar came up HUGE at the end of the game and Prince was one cocky bad@$@ just putting it to those guys.

THE REFFING WAS HORRIBLE. There was definite Xavier favoritism no matter what that guy up above said. Did anyone notice the ESPN announcers though? They were all over Xavier's nuts. Especially the first half. They would comment about how terrible we were and our shots were and then get down on their knees praising Xavier every time they even made a decent pass. It was one of the most unprofessional and appalling things I have ever seen on national TV.

Did anyone watch this game on ESPN? It was unbelievable. Not only were the refs clearly screwing us, but did anyone listen to what the announcers were saying? Especially the first half. All they did was talk trash about us and get down on their knees for Xavier.
Actual paragraph
"TN is 10 for 21 for the half. Yeah with 13 bad shots."
" And here comes Lavender for Xavier. What a great pass. Did you see that pass? And then the amazing dunk. Wow these guys are great."

FWB, I have known both Britton and Dustin since I was a little kid and you are right. He graduated from Bearden in '03.

Wow you talk smack about the people who are anti-Fulmer, but God at least we are realistic. Listen to all of ya'll talking about Crompton like he is the 2nd coming. I hate to burst your bubble but he hasn't shown anything yet. Let's wait and see how he does next year. And all this talk about being back in the SEC championship next year is ludicrous. While I think we will have enough talent to finish in the top 10 next year, I think GA and FL could be in the top 5. Barring a miracle, no way we make it back to ATL next year. The SEC East will be far and away the hardest division in college football.

On Adams: Vols should explore all options

What a slap in the face that is. Hey fans you just dished out hundreds of dollars to watch us lose ANOTHER SEC championship game (not to mention we should've won and through it away). We are happy to pay a guy like Fulmer multi-million dollars a year to give us a steady level of mediocrity with the occasional glimmer of hope that we actually belong in the top 5 of teams in the SEC (the miracle of us making it to this years championship). And that's not even on Fulmer! I put that SOLELY on the heart and drive and pissed off motivation of our team. Now we want you to dish out thousands more to support another non-BCS "who cares" bowl game that we will probably lose because we never come to play and just don't really care about bowl games unless it's a BCS game. And the only reason we are really in a New Year's Bowl game is b/c I beg and pleaded and promised we would fill the seats. And next year when we suppossedly have all the talent and we return everyone and should DEFINITELY not lose more than 2 games (UGA and FL...but a coach getting as much as Fulmer should at least beat one of them), I'm here to tell you you will have another nice 6-7 years of mediocrity when stay the course causes another 3 to 4 lose season and the Peach Bowl or Outback Bowl if really lucky...

I'm sick of them trying to pull the wool over our eyes like everything about the TN football program is just fine. Hamilton, we aren't 15 year old idiots. This letter will definitely be remembered come VASF time next year!

Huey...are you kidding me? Of course we would've stopped them. They got field position that good twice in the 2nd half and did nothing with it. Before that play LSU had combined for 7 yard on 6 plays the 2 drives before that. Our D finally had their number in the 2nd half. NO WAY THEY WOULD'VE SCORED IT WE HADN'T THROWN THAT INTERCEPTION!!! Peri douche was hurt and couldn't do anything. Our D was fired up. I don't blame Bolden for his comments. Ainge choked and we lost...plain and simple. It doesn't mean I dont appreciate everything he has done. But some of us aren't blind loyalists on this site who cry fair weathered fan every time we don't get down on our knees for Fulmer and his 4 losses

On Vols stand behind Ainge

That game was downright tragic. Our boys played their hearts out and the D was at a point where LSU had NO CHANCE of scoring any more points on us. We could've won with 14! I can't believe he made that first throw. that is a throw Ainge would usually never make! And especially when Rogers was wide open in the middle of the field for the first. HORRIBLE. I was proud of our guys on Saturday because I think they played their hearts out and should've won that game. More so than any game I can remember this losing. But again when it came crunch time, a series of errors prevented us from hitting that next level. Now those punks in Purple are in the NC. Unbelievable. I can't believe they put them in that game after we were dominating them and they got super lucky. But then again the media hates us.

I'm so glad this team turned the season around and ended up making something positive of what was a disastrous start to what looked like might be a great season. Now we have earned the chance for redemption, and this TN team has more heart than any team I can remember. I might have had a few heart attacks along the way (and I'm only 24!), but the ends definitely justify the means for me. I'm still skeptical about Fulmer, but at this point I really don't care as long as the team plays with as much heart as they have been. They make me proud to be a fan of TN football! It's about time the national media start recognizing this football team and what they have done to turn it around (which they would if it was anyone except TN). Now GA and FL are sitting at home watching us prepare to take on the once mighty LSU (who have lost 2 games to 2 teams we beat...hmm). One of my best friends is a GA fan and is glad they aren't going to the SEC championship as it could negatively impact their BCS bid.

The only way we are going to beat LSU is to play a FULL GAME of hardnosed, aggressive football. Why not? We have NOTHING TO LOSE and everything to gain. I hope the coaching staff lets our guys run wild and give it their all since they haven't let them play a complete game all year. None of this nammy pammy prevent O and D crap. All out the entire game! And we have a chance at victory. Hopefully Dorsey will be hurt too.

On 30-minute assessment saves Vols' season

Posted on November 26 at 4:06 p.m.

Yeah, did anyone watch the UGA game? I admit they have played pretty good the last few weeks, but any halfway decent team would've beaten the crap out of them this weekend. They made mistakes all over the field and were lucky that they were playing such a horrible team. Another joke media darling team while our Vols have more heart than the rest of the teams in the SEC combined!

On Brooks: Wrong team ended up winning

Posted on November 26 at 9:16 a.m.

The refs were horrible and almost cost us the game. BS pass interference calls, no penalty assessment on the downright cheap face mask on Berry, and a barrage of other horrid calls made it look like they wanted TN to lose.
I had a collection of mini heart attacks on Saturday and I'm only 24. I knew KY was going to comeback. But I thought they would beat us and it would be indicative of our season. But I underestimated this team's heart when it comes down to it. I am very upset about the predictable waste time O in the 2nd half and zone D with no preesure (pressure on Woodson is what drove us in the first half) that almost results in blowing a huge lead. This has been a constant theme all year. How do we expect to beat LSU when we haven't played 1 complete game this year? (besides la whatever that one game) I still think we will get it done somehow though...

And the media can kiss my you know what. Even last week when they started discussing the UT-KY game on ESPN, Jesse "I'm a douche" Palmer barely talked about TN and instead spent 5 minutes talking about how great UGA was and how they were going to be in the 'Ship. I was sooo angry. And then the other night the only highlight they show is when it was 44-44 in OT. But you have all these crappy games getting 5 minutes of coverage. I'm so sick of that. Why do they hate TN so much? I dare Gameday to come back to Knoxville....

On In the end, it came down to three yards
