phil is not a good man. he is an arrogant egomaniac that is getting what he deserves. he inherited a rising program and landed one good recruit, peyton, whose name brought in the rest of the good recruits. those good recruits won a title, and phil rode the coattails of that for 3 more years. if he was a good man who cared about the university he would announce his resignation now so the university can begin the process and he can help with the transition. he never will do such a thing because he is a selfish pig.
