Staying put is fine if that is what he wanted, but it does illustrate that his loyalty to Tennessee is not very strong. The Kiffin stinch will stick with him for a while with Tennessee fans now. It's one thing to take a job cause you need it. It's another to want to keep a job over other options. He will probably not be as well received here in the future.
