Coach, thanks for your lifelong commitment to Tennessee. You are truly a class act and a great man.

Some of these idiots don't understand that it is IMPOSSIBLE to go 11-1 every year and win the SEC title.

Yeah, we've had some bad years but we've had some great ones as well. See 2007 as an example. Talk about overachieving.

I think it's great everyone hates on John Adams now since he called for a change at the head coaching position. To me, that says a lot about how much Coach Fulmer is respected.

I love Coach Pearl and what he has done for Tennessee basketball. It's fantastic!

I know Mike Hamilton and the athletic department will pay him whatever it takes and Indiana is a Top-5 job in college basketball, but here's my main question to Coach Pearl about Indiana:

Why would you want to run the house that Bob Knight built, when you can stay here and build the house that Bruce Pearl built?

I know coaches are all about legacy and Indiana's calling card will always be Bob Knight. If Coach Pearl stays here for the duration Tennessee will be his.

Anyway, let's drop this rumor stuff until the tournament is over. Coach Pearl: YOU ROCK!

I'm no football coach but this doesn't make sense to me:

"Fulmer said he was more concerned with field position because UT's defense struggled to stop Alabama's offense."

If you can't stop them doesn't that give you more reason to go for it on 4th down and make a statement. The old adage, "Play to win instead of playing to lose" comes to mind.

I feel like the final 4th down conversion when it was 27-17 cost us the game. I didn't understand how we could punt there.

It was almost like we were giving up. Once again, I'm no coach and respect Fulmer immensely but it didn't make sense to me.

The schedule this year is very favorable for Tennessee. There aren't that many scary games. Florida is overrated, Alabama has a first year coach, and we don't have to play LSU. Florida, CAL and Arkansas are the toughest games. If Tennessee gets by 2 of the 3 - Watch Out!

Fulmer has a renewed sense of "I need to prove something" and a great team is one year older. This team is dangerous and no one in the national media is talking about it. It was the same way in '98.

On It's no joking matter for Ainge
