Unfortunately, I had no idea and do not have an opportunity to talk to players or their families, if this truly is the case then you are right and I was wrong to question it. I just could not see this happening but who knows.

how many of you have actually played this game for an extended period of time??
UT is a VERY young team with a brand new coach, there are only 3 seniors on this team this year. It takes time to adapt to Raleigh's coaching and the players have to buy in to what he is saying.
VOLFAN- I highly doubt Raleigh said that in front of his team, and if he did I bet he was talking about MSU, not his own team

with the entire Memphis starting 5 entering in the draft, Kansas, UCLA, Texas, and other, this draft is loaded. I think he could go but it would be better to come back with the guys we have and the others we have coming in.

I love the attitudes of our guys.
I love that they keep saying that they are not intimidated by a very good Louisville team. This will be a better game than Memphis (which I think will be beat by MSU)

yeah body paint at a womens game=showing support for your school. What a selfish thing to do.
ESPN in the locker room - how many coaches have you seen do the same exact thing and you didnt say a word about them now did you.
Oh and I guess shedding a tear in front of the nation while talking about one of your kids on the team that has lost his father, god what a heartless SOB Pearl is.
Bottom line bud, it was a great game and UT won, get over it and move on

This win just made my week on this campus so much easier. Watched the game at a bar here in MTown last night and was constantly yelled at and got ice thrown at me after the game.
We beat a hell of a talented team last night fellas, lets enjoy this and move on to Vandy!

Being a transfer student (went from UT to Memphis). Although I am in Memphis, I still bleed orange, and always will. I have been through constant s%#$ talking for the past 2 months. Memphis does not believe we can go into that stadium and win it. For now I will let them talk their crap and i will stay quiet. i see an overconfident bunch in Memphis, and a hungry Vol team ready to play. This is going to be fun
