Duke, each time you are tempted to get down, try to remember your team mate Chris. Let him be an example of how to stay strong and overcome. It takes strength and determination but you can do it. I wish you well in your career of basketball. Nobody can dunk like Duke Crews. Good luck.

Chris,
Your Vol family cares about you not only for the present time but also, always in your future. We are hurt for what you had to endure, both in pain and in criticsm from some of the Vol fans. Hopefully, this will serve a lesson to many of them. Most fans, however, appreciate all you did for the Basketball team for 4 years. You will probably be remembered for your bravery as much as your tremendous abilities and accomplishments in basketball but I am sure that everyone wants you to have the brightest future possible whether it is basketball or something else. You are the type of young man that any Mother would be proud to claim. God Bless You Chris in whatever life holds for you.

I am so sorry that Chris thought it best to keep this private. I just feel that he could have gotten through this whole thing much better if he had just let his Vol "family" surround him with more love, compassion, and care. Cancer is so hard to go through even when surrounded by caring friends and family. He had to really "hurt" when his play was being questioned by so many as to what was "wrong" with his game. Chris, you will never be
forgotten by your Vol family. You can be sure that you will be a legend for many generations to come. God Bless You and your family and I can assure you that there will be many prayers said for you now and in the future.

You ladies will always be my SPECIAL TEAM of the Lady Vols. All of you deserve the best because of your work ethics, your attitude, your abilities, and especially your determination as a team. Thanks for the memories and best of luck to each of you that are leaving for the WNBA. May your futures go well there also, and we will be watching even though it can never be the same. Once a Lady Vol, always a Lady Vol.

You people might enjoy reading some of the articles on ESPN. com. While most are written prior to the game, I found the articles to be "entertaining", especially since only 1 out of 6 picked our Lady Vols to win.

Sorry, Holly, but could you really be happy being anything other than a Lady Vol? Hope you have a good summer on your Harley and certainly good luck for the cause of making more people aware of Breast Cancer as you and Nikki travel around the country and raising money for this as well. Good luck.
On Warlick OK with staying put with Lady Vols
