I hope Hardesty can stay healthy for 2 more years. I love his north south running style.
On Hardesty makes moves, but Fulmer says scrimmage 'wasn't what we wanted'

Before the game, 2 PSU wise guys were begging for tix outside the stadium. They yelled at me: where is your southern hospitality?
We showed em our hospitality that night. Sweet revenge against those a**holes.

Great news to shore up a position where depth is lacking.

SJT18. So true. The jury is still out on Poole because he hasn't done anything yet. Granted, the odds are that 4 and 5 star players are LIKELY better, but to knock players who in someone's opinion is "only" a 3* is crazy. There are too many factors, such as levels of competition, high school coaching, teenage maturity, girlfriends, family situations, etc., that affect the evaluation of differences between the ratings. After all a 3* is probably a very good player and many turn out to be good or great collegians and pros.

Poole is only a 3 star. He shouldn't be doing this good!!!!

Ainge made some mistakes, but for the most part he played well, just ask the opponents. All QBs are subject to criticism and arm chair QBs. Goes with the territory. Fair enough.
His biggest critics are so called UT fans who don't like Fulmer, Chavis, Cutcliffe, Hamilton or the rest of the team. They probably hate their mothers. Ainge might not be a pro QB, but few make it that far anyway. I for one wish him the best in whatever he does and thank him for his contribution.

You can read about UTs scrimmage last night at www.tennessean.com since we can't get any news in the home town paper.

Good job Erik. I wonder if those who deride "dink and dunk" would be singing the same tune if it was "inceptions and sacks" and a 5-6 season. Let's hope we don't find out. Do what it takes to win whether it is "dink and dunk", "4 yards and a cloud of dust" or "Hail Marys".
