not sure if anyone has answered your question billvol b/c I didn't read all the posts....but Harding Academy is in Memphis.......

The info below is from Wikipedia....it gives us 4 nat'l titles but it also only gives Bama 10 and as I posted above they're not too shy about claiming 12 and noone seems to call them on it, and if we have been awarded 6, then we have the right and we should claim 6....it's not our fault they didn't have the "perfect" system in the past that we have now.........

Why wouldn't a "TRUE" vol fan claim 6 nat'l titles? In case you've never been around a BAMA fan or in Tuscaloosa, they're adamant and a even a bit annoying when they calim their precious 12 titles....and they SHOULD claim 12.........I am a VERY TRUE VOL fan, and if we can claim 6, then we SHOULD claim 6!!!!!

Who else will beat us out for the SEC....IF Tyler comes back and we have consistent PG play and we have some decent outside shooting?????
Vandy -- Foster aka 1/2 of their offense gone. Alex Gordon is gone as well
UF -- they could be pretty good, but it remains to be seen if ol' Billy D's motivational aka beat you down tactics work to make them good
UK -- yes they will have Patterson back and will surely have good recruiting but Bradley and Crawford are gone
ARK -- Weems - gone. Thomas - gone. Townes - gone. Ervin - gone. Hill (aka 7-foot hit about his only shot of the season against us with 6 seconds left) - gone.
LSU -- They'll all be back except for maybe Randolph if he bolts for the Association...but not too worried about them either...
AUB- please.....SC....please.....Ole Miss....please...
UGA -- Gaines gone...aka....please...
So, that leaves 2 teams....and they are the 2 that could give us competition for the crown besides maybe the Gators....but at least they are in the WEST...
BAMA -- If Hendricks comes back, and Steele remains healthy, they will be tough....
MS STATE -- They are losing Rhodes, but they'll still have Jamont Gordon and Varnardo aka set up a perimeter 6 feet around the basket and if you enter said perimeter, you get it swatted back at your grille....AND they MIGHT get Hopson....????/
GO VOLS!!! Repeat SEC Champs....Have Faith Orange Country...Not everything has to look dreary...Don't be negative....

it only has Tennessee and MS State listed as HIGH INTEREST........hopefully this is a good sign....but it also lists his perimeter shot as an area for improvement, but this article says he's the best shooter in KY....what gives? Anyways, I really hope we get him, but I really, REALLY hope Tyler stays....he is so dominant, and if he comes back, he will be THE MAN for us next year instead of just one of our three best...CHISM, TYLER, HOPSON, RAMAR, PRINCE, TATUM, CREWS, TABB, etc.....repeat SEC champs...

Some of you people are ridiculous........
Look at what Pearl has done for us in just 3 years...we went from a sub-500 club pre-pearl to getting 2 #2 seeds, and a #5 seed in the NCAA tourney, 2 straight sweet 16's, a #1 ranking for the 1st time ever, SEC championship for the 1st time in over 40 yrs, excitement and sold-out crowds to watch our games, national recognition, etc.....IN JUST 3 YEARS!!!!!!!!....Don't be so stinkin greedy.....Imagine what we'll be in another 3 years.....Good Grief!!!
And as far as Howell goes.....it is a little sad that he didn't get in for his last game, but if imagine what it would've been like for Howell just being put in in the last 2 minutes of a game that was already over...that would probably be a bigger slap in the face...maybe Howell even asked not to go in...we don't know.....don't assume things....and if you ask me, Howell should have been benched a few weeks ago....

I had never really thought of it that way....but that sounds about right.... it kinda eases the sting of the loss a LITTLE bit....if everyone will just calm down and think positively about our future instead of just freaking out.....we only lost 5 games ALL season...that's not bad...and look at what Pearl has done in only 3 seasons....imagine what he can do in 3 more.....limitless baby...GO VOLS!!!

Why all the negativity and assuming that Pearl is gone...only yesterday...people seemd confident that he would stay and now after 1 loss to a good Louisville team and now everyone thinks Pealr is gone....ridiculous....why are fans so negative? GO VOLS! TN is on the rise, and it's b/c of Pearl; he's staying.........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I knew it seemed longer for CBS to run a game....their commercial breaks take FOR-EV-ER ....... And I thought the new :40 play clock started as soon as the previous play ended. That's how I understood it, and I went to the O&W game, and I thought that's how it was then.....????
