Fulmer will not resign, he will have to be fired, and Hamilton will not do it. Heck with any kind of quarterback play we would be 5-0. We just don't have a quarterback or a offense. The defense has played good enough to win all 5 ballgames. We had 9, 3 and outs against UCLA. We turned the ball over twice inside the 5 against Florida, gave them the ball inside the 20 on another fumble, and they returned a punt for a touchdown. We pick-up 10 yards against Auburn and we kick a game winning field goal. If and a big IF, we had any kind of offense this is a different season. I know we still loose but.............

In the long run Fulmer's not going anywhere and he needed to go 5 years ago. Right now we are looking like a MAC team. The recruits will start looking elsewhere. Hamilton will not do whats necessary, Fulmer will not do whats right and we as fans will suffer.

On Fresh-start struggle

Kingsport, you tha man, great post. I agree, but i think the best thing Fulmer could do at this point if he wants to shoulder the load is: Fire Clausen and start calling all the plays, cut his losses amd start doing it himself. That's the only way he saves his job. If it works out he keeps his job if it doesn't he is fired anyway. What do you think about this one.

I agree with everything you said. Crompton is the reason we look so bad. He should be replaced. Makes me wonder how bad our other 2 must be. Either way Crompton must be banned from talking in public, he doesn't have a clue.

On Turnovers, missed chances hurt offense

Crompton sucks, the offense sucks we are as bad as UAB. Coach Fulmer resign, PLEASE.

On Florida has easy time with stumbling Vols, 30-6

BYU is a third to fourth place team in the SEC. They just beat a team by 59 that we lost to. What does that say for the Vols. Its time to clean house, we will be out of the game by halftime. Crompton is not a SEC quarterback, by the way Duke won and scored 41. Again I will say BYU 59 and UCLA 0. Enough said.

On Adams: There's a defense for the biggest concerns

All that needs to be said BYU 59, UCLA 0. Enough said, that alone will hang our players heads. Gators win with the BYU score, and before we take the field. We will be lucky to keep it close, Meyer knows we can't throw, he will put 8 in the box and dare us to throw. He will blitz the other times and Crompton throws at least 4 interceptions. I will say it again, BYU 59, UCLA 0. Doesn't look good for Vol Fans. The kool-aid will be broke out early and often next Saturday.

On Tennessee finds rhythm in 35-3 win over UAB

Creer and Warren should be on the field, Stocker should stay on the end of the bench. Crompton is terrible, have to be able to throw it some.

On Home opener: Time to move on for Vols

Crompton is terrible. Next week Florida will stack the line and dare us to throw it. When he does throw it I hold my breath. He makes Ainge look like a all SEC quarterback. We need to face it, our talent level has really dropped off. Fulmer won on talent levels for years and everybody knew it. The only hope for us is we get blown out about 8 times this year and Fulmer gets axed, but that not going to happen. Were looking at some hard times Vols fans. It could get ugly in a hurry.

On Home opener: Time to move on for Vols

Crompton thinks he is better than he is, he doesn't even have to practice. We are a joke, Fulmer and the rest of this coaching staff should be sent out to pasture. It only gets worse from here, first mobile quarterback since Tee and we keep him in the pocket all game long, great coaching. Our so called offensive cordinator just made Randy Sanders look like a genius.

On New alignment not part of Vols' problems

I agree this article speaks volumes about how we all bleed orange. But we deserve better than what we got Monday night. I agree with everything jcvet said. We just are not getting 100% from the coaching staff. We are the Clemson of the SEC. Talent level at or near the top we just can't coachem up. The players deserve better and so do the fans. Do the right thing Coach Fulmer and Chavis and resign and go fishin. Go Big Orange.
