I wish Witten had stayed at Tennessee for his final year. Letting Washington go to the NFL early and keeping Stallworth and Witten on the team instead and we are having a lot less discussion about Coach Fulmer's record over the last five years. Losing those two early cost us big time. BTW, Congrats Jason, hope you get the record.

I am looking forward to seeing Crompton under center. His INTs this year are nothing to worry about. They were more a disconnect between receiver and QB rather than his inability to read the defense. That happens when you come in the game when the game is done. The Arkansas debacle last year was not all Crompton - the whole team was flat and the dropped balls took away any chance of gaining momentum. Crompton's mobility and athleticism will make the Jones option even more effective. If we get the right OC, our offense could be something special next year.

MBUM, i'll take a little of that action - but let's not talk chump change. I'll take UT and 10 for a grand. You man enough to put your money where your mouth is?

Hey, you know what would happen if Adams really did move back to Lousiana? The IQ's in Lousiana and Tennessee would go up.

Dash, that's a bit more than a mouthful, but I basically agree. I would like to say that the single biggest distraction are the fans like ones you described. But the real answer to this question is None of the Above - it is simply the press, specifically this press.
On Poll: What has been the biggest distraction for the Tennessee football team?

Tennrich, I hope Pearl can get Chism to play like he did the last 4 minutes. The kid has good hops and soft hands, he should be a force around the basket. This team is really loaded and with complimentary players instead of more of the same. Defense is good when it wants to be. I still say the play of the game was Ramar going after and getting that loose ball. These guys give it up for each other and that includes the coach. Great chemistry and great talent. Should be a special year for UT.

I hate to give Adams credit, but he is due on this one. Good article and good observations. We remember to well the points given up on that first interception that won the game for LSU. We forget too quickly that we should have won this game against the best defense we played in a long time. The simple fact is that Erik got us there, ran the offense efficiently, checked to the right plays most of the time and leveraged a very simple dink and dunk option to rack up some impressive numbers from both a yardarge and point perspective. Coach Cut worked wonders for a kid that had lost his way under the 2 qb system he had his first two year.
Most volunteers thank you Erik - for your leadership, your character, your class and your abilities. We would really like to see your best in your last.
Justis...interesting words you have created there. Awful analysis and very, very far from being anywhere close to accurate. But it is the Christmas season, so I do have to congratulate you on working your way through school with your two jobs. Based on your sentence structure and grammar, you probably had a tough time maintaining your grades.

The Dive was the turning point of the game. I love that about this team. Ramar sliding under the Xavier player and finding a teammate. Awesome. I hope BP files a report on these refs. That was the mostlopsided calls I've seen in a long time. It appeared they missed 3 five second calls in the final 8 minutes or so - called a travel on Chism when he went to the ground to get a loose ball and a total BS call on Pearl

Easy to see that kick. Makes me think of Reggie Miller with the Pacers. He had a patented kick that he used to get fouls called. Only thing was that Reggie was MONEY with his 3kick (and not the MONEY Bertelkamp yells when Lofton hits his first 3 after missing 7 straight).

To all recruits reading the posts on this site and all you guys commenting on TDTN (aka CRVOL) need to adopt my policy - when you see his ID, skip to the next post. He never posts anything worth reading and he has zero credibility. His only purpose in life is to attempt to tarnish others and in the end, only presents himself as a complete idiot.
