He's NOT a defendant, nafslov. He was subpoenaed to give a deposition, that's all.

Probably the WORST thing CPF could have done was to have answered questions about a legal document that was shoved in his face moments before, not having had a chance to talk with his attorney about it. Whether or not he knew what it was or suspected what it was is no matter -- he did what he had to do to shift the focus off that asinine lawsuit and back to TN football, where it belonged.

And I meant to add, Jacksonlover, that your comments would be better received without the childish insults.

While I agree with Jacksonlover that any offer is a good offer when you consider it's a free education (Vandy's offer alone is worth about $250k), I think what everyone is trying to say is that Jackson just needs to stop talking about the no-offer situation from UT. It's starting to sound a little sour grape-ish. Sometimes it's best to just shrug your shoulders and move on.

Scout article says he didn't really participate in the Alabama camp either although he was there for it. There's no reason for a player to attend a camp if he's already got an offer...makes me wonder if he wasn't just "struttin'" a little bit around the recruits who were busting their butts to try to get an offer.

Now that he's announced his decision, can we please not have any more articles about the kid? Enough already. Move on. There are plenty more recruits out there.

You're on the right track, Vol13. I know a kid in West TN who is being recruited by Alabama and Auburn, among others. Solid player at a much-needed position for the Vols. No discipline issues, 4.0+ GPA, 30 ACT, yet TN hasn't so much as sneezed at him. He'll end up out of state or at Vandy, and do well wherever he goes.

bamacheats...that was an unnecessary comment about the "proactiv" scholarship.

Congratulations Jarod! Come on down to Memphis...we can use all the orange-blooded folks we can get down here. The campus of the University of Tennessee is the state of Tennessee!

Beats me, nafslov. The subpoena will likely be quashed anyway. Guess it gives these hacks something to write about.
