iowavol, to each heir own opinion ---mine is I think kessling is quite good at basketball in particular----think he and bert make for an exciting call----------whats your problems with his BB----------noone here would be happy with any ward successor no matter who it would be

would agree with others---1st team O against 2nd team D and vice versa proves very little---and anyone who takes that much from it needs to lay off the orange liquid for the 4 months just as the players have 4 mo off------while it doesnt give a real indication of the players it does give some of the coaching style and would appear we going to open it up some and go downfield and thats good to see----------this irrelevant 1st against 2nd setup is more designed to get the fan base excited and optimistic than give a real indication of what we got

with all due respect, wayne is improving but hes smoking something to remotely consider he may be pro material right now or projected out another year----he needs to start rebounding if he has aspirations

if the objective is to make it to the elite 8 and then bow out then yes our bracket worked against us--if the objective was to win it all then it made no difference---you have to beat the best teams to do that and we just had to do it in the middle rather than at the end--------BUT if louisville or NC are not standing at the end then obviously they werent the best teams anyway so there goes the bracket argument

getting outplayed/not executing ( making shots/rebounding/ defending etc) is a lot easier to recognize then getting "out-coached" which is grey and not black and white. Just how do you guys define "getting out-coached" -- is that just assumed whenever we may get beat?
Weve had lots of great second halfs this year due to coaching adjustments at half time-----like tommyjack says we were outmanned/ in foul trouble/ didnt make shots---what coaching moves would some of you suggest that would have erased a 19 pt deficit------and geniuses dont come back saying the decision to play Steven Pearl for 2 minutes---only thing i might suggest is BP maybe should have told Chism to write on the chalkboard 100 times "i will not take cheap fouls/get in foul trouble cause my presence on the court is critical"------what would u Pearl-doubter now have had him do to not "be outcoached" if u claim he was????????---I'm not suggesting coaching can not be questioned but how bout some spectifics that would have changed the outcume as bad as we executed---doubt there are any that would have changed the outcome if only made it maybe more respectable.
We overachieved this year and BP is largely responsible for that------us losing a game against a real good team thats better on paper than us should not be that much of a surprise or unthinkable

total morons those questioning Steven Pearl for coming in and playing just 2 minutes---one above questions "so much time"--and getting 2 bords rather than condemning chism for instead getting 2 cheap fouls in the first 2 minutes to essentially take himself out of the game and soften our middle for the duration---such geniuses here

when you are outplayed to the degree we were how can you even make suggestions about out-coached or not. Players have to execute and we didnt----we didnt get hammered because of coaching--greatest coaching in world gets u beat when u shoot 34% and get outrebounded by 15
Steven Pearl gets 2 rebounds in last 2 minutes of half and chism picks up 2 cheap fouls in the first half and the geniuses on this board want to condemn Pearl instead when its the Chism early fouls that had the most effect on this game and softened us up inside as a result---the haters for the wrong reasons are not even rational

the idiots here making such a big deal about Steven Pearl playing 2 minutes as if that was if in any reason was contributory to a 19 pts blowout--no affect whatsoever---we get outrebounded by 15 boards just like against Butler and Pearl had 2 boards in 2 minutes versus our big men getting maybe 4 boards in 26-28 minute---idiotic for anyone to denegrate what he did in 2 minutes-----noone knows his skills since he never plays so to criticize his being in there for 2 is insane--he did more than Childress so why no outcry on him as well for 2 or 3 stinkin minutes---------if Chism plays smart and doesnt pick up 2 fouls early---he always gets at least one early---some of these guy dont have to get in cause Wayne is on bench
We got hammered cause we couldnt make shots and turned it over to much and again got killed on boards not because of referring or Pearl in (contributing) for 2 minutes---the koolaiders who just cant accept a loss under any circumstances are always going to make excuses and hate on some--- ie in love withe BP 2 days ago and not so anymore for some----some sicka$$ people here
