Looks to be a good hire.. time of course will tell.

I know it's the first press conference, but no one asked Derek about his temper, and how that will represent UT with class. I guess that comes with being a football coach, but some coaches handle it better than others.

I certainly hope he can balance passion with temperance on the practice and playing field.

La.Tech was a better team when Crowton was coach. Now having left Oregon, he joined Les Miles (also with a temper) as his OC at LSU in 07.

What I see and hear so far...I like. Given how some of our players have behaved lately, I'm glad he has a law degree. Seriously, though, if our new coach has the integrity, determination, and motivation that he appears to have in this press conference, I believe this program will be back at the top (ROCKY TOP!) soon! GO VOLS! and GOOD LUCK Coach Dooley!
