The skinny: An athlete in every sense of the word, King, after serving as a dual-threat quarterback in high school, expects to play at linebacker with the Vols. He’s been blessed with long arms, which allow him to shed blocks naturally. Recruited heavily by the departed Sirmon and Justin Wilcox, King was the closest thing the Vols had to an absolute lock in this signing class. His brother, Jerry, will be a senior linebacker at Tennessee Tech next season.
