Just watched Kippy Brown Press Conference. What an awesome guy... Heck, I'm ready to play for him!!!

Believe he'd be a fine HC for the Big Orange...

Watched the entire interview with Coach Brown, and like the other folks on here, I'm fired up! He's a class act, and I like the fact that he's a Tennessee guy, through and through. After what we've been through the last 14 months, it would be refreshing to have less of the drama, but more of the coaching, discipline, and direction that seems to be a part of who Coach Brown is. Hire the man, Mr. Hamilton.

Agree with above. I don't know if he's the right guy for HC or not but I'll tell you this, the dude bleeds orange and if Hamilton hires someone else, he'd better make sure Kippy gets to stay. The guy is impressive and I would love for my son to play for him.

CKB seems like a class act. Wow, he is a lot different than Kiffin.

He loves Tennessee, he wants to be there, has a good resume, he's family, he won't betray the family, that's all I need! Go Kippy, Go Vols!

unclesmoke writes:

Kippy needs a raise just for damage control alone. He has to stay no matter who is hired.

Please give Kippy the helm! He is exactly the type of coach the players and fans need and deserve!! GO KIPPY!!!!! Get UT back on the map in the SEC!!

Please tell me that Hamilton is not going to off Derrick D. the HC job before he even interviews Kippy Brown. That would be as bad or worse than what Kiffen did. Hamilton should be canned immediately if that's what he does. Kippy should always have been his FIRST choice for HC.

Ask yourself, "If you were a player or a players parent, what type of man would you want as a mentor and role model?"

Thank you Kippy for your class, honor, and integrity.

Very impressive. I don't think he is the right man for the head coach position, but I really like him. Dooley will be wise to keep and rewad him
