UT quarterback Nick Stephens is pumped about the Vols' 2009 season. With more energy and enthusiasm from the team and coaching staff than he's ever seen before, Stephens is hyper-focused on the tasks at hand. He's not, however, too keen on the talent portion of his interview.

Has anyone heard anything about how Janzen Jackson is doing in pratice? If he is as good as he was made out to be in HS, then him and EB in the backfield could equal big problems for Florida!!

Janzen Jackson is actually doing really well. I read a column about him on volquest.com or insidetennessee.com and he is learning everything quickly. He is doing everything the coaches ask him to do and putting it into play in a superb way. Don't you worry he will make a e mediate impact in our defense. Expect to see him get some playing time and probably more than he might expect.

Another excellent interview by the superb and gorgeous voice of Erin Chapin. Erin, have you heard anything about incoming freshman James Green from Tallahassee, Florida? He played at Leon High School if that helps anything.

Nick what the heck dude. You should of stopped by the state capital to give me your autograph when you where down here on my birthday (July 4th).

Erin, I think Nick means in the long run that if football does not work out then he will apply for a job with Emerald. However, there is no need to worry about football working out for him. He can throw on a rope and at a long distance.

Thanks for that info. I know he is a great player, and that he and berry will knock some heads off come opening day!! Hope Florida has good health insurance for it's players, they WILL need it!!

There is a recent interview with Janzen Jackson on utsports.com if you want to read some more about him.

Well, I personally like Stephens better than Crompton and I think that he will establish himself as the better QB when we get into conference play.
