UT head basketball coach, Bruce Pearl spoke with the media following practice Friday, Jan. 8, 2009 regarding the dismissal of Tyler Smith. Smith's dismissal was announced one week after the forward and three other players, Melvin Goins, Brian Williams and Cameron Tatum, were arrested on drug and weapons charges. Teammates Bobby Maze, Wayne Chism and J.P. Prince commented on Smith's dismissal as well.
