It's not unusual to hear laughter in a press conference with UT head football coach Derek Dooley. The Monday following the Vols' loss to Alabama was slightly more raucous when the coach compared the inexperience and indecision of the youthful Tennessee team to the Germans on the beaches of Normandy during the invasion in World War II. Dooley, speaking animatedly, had reporters in stitches as he tied a history lesson into his recap of Saturday's game.

I'm sure Bryan thinks he bleeds orange. But the truth is... he's only a fan (not a supporter or booster) who looks for teenagers and twenty-year olds to give his life some validation and some stature. He wants to boast about his team and wear his cap backwards at the Wal-Mart and ride around town with his car flags. See, he needs this team make him a big man.
I'm looking forward to more folks like Bryan, jumping off the bandwagon. Then, it'll just be us supporters (alumni, students, boosters, and employees of the University) who can enjoy watching this program rebuild itself into a Championship program. And, it's gonna happen.
